Destiny 2 Season of the Witch removes time-gated grind for Stasis unlock.

Bungie Makes Destiny 2’s Stasis Subclass Unlock Way Less Frustrating

Destiny 2 just got a major quality of life upgrade, thanks to Bungie’s latest update. The Exo Stranger’s vendor page now allows players to purchase Stasis Aspect and Fragment, making unlocking the Stasis subclass way less frustrating and grindy. Finally, we can unleash the power of freezing and shattering without tearing our hair out!

Season 22, also known as the Season of the Witch, is keeping the game fresh and exciting. Destiny 2 continues to evolve with new updates, and the latest season brings tons of changes, including making it easier to obtain exotic catalysts from previous expansions. Say goodbye to mind-numbing grinds and hello to more enjoyable gameplay!

One of the most significant additions in the Beyond Light expansion was the introduction of the Stasis subclass. It gave players access to dark, freezing powers that could slow down and even shatter enemies. Unfortunately, unlocking all the fragments and aspects of this subclass turned out to be quite the grind, with time-gated missions frustrating fans who just wanted to unleash their frozen fury.

But fear not, fellow Guardians! Season 22 is here to save us from the tedium. In the Season of the Witch patch notes, Bungie reveals that the Exo Stranger now operates under the new vendor subclass system. It’s similar to the refreshed inventory system of Ikora at the Tower, making it easier for us to purchase those coveted light-based abilities and now, Stasis powers too!

Now, unlocking Stasis and all its abilities, grenades, fragments, and aspects is a piece of cake. No more waiting around for weeks just to get a small taste of icy destruction. Everything can be purchased with glimmer, and the best part is we can buy as much as we can afford. Finally, a system that understands our insatiable hunger for power!

Getting your hands on these new Stasis powers is as easy as heading to the Exo Stranger through the Beyond fast travel waypoint on Europa. But be warned, dear Guardians, it’s gonna cost you. Supers come with a 7,500 glimmer price tag, while class abilities are a more reasonable 1,000 glimmer. Melee, Jumps, and Grenades will set you back 3,000 glimmer each. However, brace yourselves, because the real sticker shock comes when we talk about Stasis Aspects and Fragments, with prices of 5,000 and 25,000 glimmer respectively.

But wait, there’s more! Bungie didn’t just make unlocking Stasis a breeze; they also super-charged the other darkness subclass, Strand, with new aspects! Titans are flocking to the Banner of War, which not only empowers melee and sword kills but also provides a healing effect. Warlocks, on the other hand, have stumbled upon the Weavewalk aspect, which seems to make them practically indestructible. Unfortunately, the power gave Warlocks a taste of divinity and had to be temporarily disabled. Whoops! Guess we’ll have to wait for that one.

In conclusion, Destiny 2 keeps getting better and better. With Bungie’s improvements and updates, unlocking the Stasis subclass has become a joyous journey instead of a grueling grind. So, get your glimmer ready, Guardians, and let’s freeze, shatter, and unleash chaos like never before!

Destiny 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
